Description
Ivy House is a detached house built in the late 18th century, located on Pleasant Row, which was laid out in 1786. The building is constructed of red and brown stock brick with a concealed roof. It stands three storeys tall and has a single depth plan with a rear stack. The front features a symmetrical arrangement of three windows. There is a parapet with stone coping and a cornice that returns on either side. The windows are hornless sashes with exposed frames, featuring nine panes on the second floor and twelve panes elsewhere, all set under flat brick window arches. The central entrance has a plain round-headed recessed doorway with an impost band and a six-panel door. Additionally, there is a sash window on the first floor and a blocked window on the second floor of the side elevation.
