Description

This is a mid-18th century former town house, now operating as a shop with storage above. It’s located on Rochester High Street. The building is constructed of red brick with a roof that is not visible. It is three storeys high and has a symmetrical facade of four windows. A rebuilt parapet features a cornice band. The windows are sash windows with 16 panes and painted lintels, set within reveals with stone sills. A large 20th-century shop front is present, featuring plate glass windows, a wooden surround, and a fascia with console brackets, along with a deeply recessed central doorway.
