Description

The railings located to the northeast of Eastgate House date from the early 19th century. They are made of wrought iron and feature uprights topped with palmette heads. The newels are decorated with cast pineapples. The design includes double gates with double lock rails that have saltire decoration, as well as segmental rails positioned between the lock and foot rail.
