Description
No. 130 High Street is a former house, now a shop, dating from around 1800 and raised in height in the early or mid 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate mansard roof with two round-headed three-light dormers. There is a lateral end stack on the right side. It stands three storeys tall with a front that has a tall two-window range and a rendered parapet topped with a moulded cornice. The second floor has a 12-pane hornless sash window set under flat arches. The first floor has similar sash windows, which are recessed under round-headed arches with an impost band. The shop front, added in the late 20th century, is made of plate glass. At the rear, there is a long two-storeyed range with a concrete tile gable-end roof. While little is visible inside, there may be original features concealed behind modern false walls.
