Description
The Lord Kitchener Memorial, located at Brompton Barracks, is a First World War memorial constructed around 1920. It is made of limestone ashlar and features an obelisk that stands on a stepped base atop a low, wide plinth. The base is adorned with a frieze depicting Royal Engineers soldiers, and the shaft of the obelisk is battered. This memorial is dedicated to Lord Kitchener and is part of a group of memorials aligned along the axis of the barracks.
