Description

This is a terrace of four houses with shops, built in the early 19th century on Victoria Street, Rochester. The building is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof. It comprises two storeys with attics, and each house has a single bay, creating a four-bay range overall.

Numbers 11 to 15 have a shop front dating from around 1900. This features stained and grained wood, and red glazed tile dressings. Above the shop fronts, the first floor has single 12-pane sash windows. Number 17 retains a 16-pane sash window with glazing bars to both the ground and first floors. All window and door openings are topped with flat arches and keystones. Each house has a single 2-light dormer casement window in the attic.
