GV II

House and 2 shops. Marked C16 but appears C18 extended by one bay in mid C19. Built of Isle of Wight stone rubble with red brick dressings and half-hipped thatched roof, extended by one bay to left in mid C19 with matching materials but slate roof. 2 storeys 3 windows. East wall has 1st floor early C19 12-pane sash and late C18 or early C19 shopfront of 2 wooden curved windows, each with 24-panes with end pilasters, dentillated cornice and doorcase with wooden shell moulded tympanum above. South elevation has C20 casements and late gabled trelliswork porch. Interior of east end has wooden fireplace with paterae flanked by cambered alcoves. Central part has chamfered spine beam.
