Description

Morgan Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on the east side of George Street. It is two storeys high and features five windows. The exterior is stuccoed, with a cornice and parapet. At the north end of the front, there is a stumpy curved bay containing three windows, which has an iron balcony on the first floor. This balcony is covered by a hood supported by engaged columns flanking the windows. There is a similar hood over the southernmost window. A keystone is present above the centre window on the first floor, and the glazing bars remain intact. The entrance includes a trellised wooden porch with a tent canopy, and the doorway features a segmental fanlight.
