Description

Bartons and the adjoining cottage on the left side are a pair of cottages built in the 18th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 19th century. They are constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble and feature a thatched roof along with brick chimneystacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows, primarily casements, although Bartons includes sliding sash windows on the first floor. The doors are simple plank designs. Additionally, Bartons has a 19th-century extension made of painted brick with a pantiled roof.
