Description

Alma House is a building dating from around 1856. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of stucco, featuring Doric pilasters on either side. The façade includes a frieze, a block string course, and a plinth. The roof is a low pitch hipped slate design with wide moulded eaves cornice.

The building has two recessed sash windows with glazing bars, which are framed by moulded stucco surrounds and sit on block sills. The ground floor features round-headed lights, with Doric pilasters and moulded arches above. The entrance is a recessed door made up of four fielded panels, with the upper two being round-headed, and it is topped by a semi-circular fanlight and a stucco arch.
