Description

Nos 38 and 39 on St James's Street are an early 19th-century house that stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco. It features a low-pitched gable-end slate roof with projecting eaves. The building has two recessed sash windows with glazing bars and block sills. Notably, the first-floor window on the left is a bay window with three lights, supported by Doric pilasters, and includes a frieze and a wide moulded cornice, along with a panelled apron. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 35 to 41.
