Description
No. 93 St James's Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It features purple grey headers with red brick rusticated quoins and a band between the storeys that is in relief. The window dressings are also made of red brick. The roof is a low pitch gable end covered with slate, and it has projecting eaves.
On the second floor, there are two recessed sash windows with glazing bars and block sills. The first floor has a flat fronted bow window with three lights, also featuring glazing bars. This level is adorned with Doric pilasters, a frieze, a moulded cornice, and a plain apron. The ground floor has a mid-19th-century shop front framed by Doric pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. To the north, there is a recessed door with four fielded panels and a rectangular fanlight above it.
