Description
No 35 on St James's Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It features purple grey headers with red brick dressings and has a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. The building has three recessed windows, although the original sash glazing bars have been replaced. The block sills are complemented by flat brick arches. The first floor originally had a flat fronted bow window, which has since been replaced by two windows in an early 19th-century style. On the ground floor, there are two doorways, each with semi-circular fanlights. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 55 to 41, which are consecutive.
