Description

This is a headstone dedicated to Jane Gleed, located approximately 3 meters southeast of the monument to John Bull at All Saints Church in Calbourne. It dates from around 1771 and features a curved top adorned with drapery, which is held back by cherubs. The drapery reveals a coffin with a skeleton, flanked by flaming urns, and is depicted as being raised by a heavenly trumpet. The sides of the headstone are carved with tendrils.
