Description

Nos 1 and 2 Barrington Row are a pair of cottages built in the 18th century and heightened in the 19th century. They are constructed of coursed clunch, with some courses of painted red brick added in stretcher bond. The cottages have a slate roof featuring two renewed brick chimneystacks. Originally designed as one and a half storeys, they were raised to two storeys in the 19th century and have three windows. The windows are casement style, and one doorcase has been replaced by a bow window. These cottages are included for their group value.
