Description

NEWPORT ROAD 1. 5270 West Cowes No 10 (Vansan) No 12 (The Olde House) SZ 4995 NE 3/81 II 2. C18 house of 2 parallel ranges. Built of ashlar with roof now covered in asbestos tiles. Two storeys. Five windows and 2 dormers. Mainly sash windows with cambered heads and glazing bars intact. The centre window is 2-light. Each has one storey extension in stone with slate roof, that to no 10 penticed, and that to no 12 hipped. Central paired weather-porch with decorative ironwork to top.
