Description
Chillerton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is finished in stucco and features a hipped slate roof with brick chimneystacks. The building is square in plan and consists of two storeys with three windows. It has a deep eaves cornice with a prominently projecting band and end pilasters. The windows are sashes with 16 panes set in reveals. The ground floor includes a verandah, which is currently roofed with corrugated plastic and supported by eight cast iron trellised supports featuring quatrefoil motifs. There are two French windows with marginal glazing bars and panelled risers, along with a central door that has three panels. The farmhouse has end brick chimneystacks and is located on the site of a Domesday Manor.
