Description
Fell Side Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features scored stucco on sandstone and has a slate roof with gable chimneys. The building has a double-depth, two-bay plan and stands two storeys high, displaying an almost symmetrical façade. The plain doorway is slightly offset to the right of centre and has an unlettered datestone above it. There are two chamfered mullion windows on each floor, with four lights to the left and three to the right on the ground floor, and three lights on each side above. Between these windows, just below the eaves, are two moulded stone brackets of uncertain purpose. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to addition to the first bay, with a similar three-light window in the second bay and two above, as well as two brackets like those at the front.
