Description
No. 139 on Castle Road is a mid-19th century house featuring two storeys and an attic, constructed from gault brick. The building has gable end roofs adorned with bargeboards and finials. Each gable end has one window, while the north wing has two windows on either side, and the south wing has one window on each side. The windows are two-light casements with block sills and drip moulds above them. The ground floor on the west front includes original French windows and a four-light bay window with a slate roof and a brick base in the gable end. There is a tent-roofed verandah with decorative cast iron tracery pilasters on the west side of the north wing, along with a conservatory on the south wing.
