Description

No. 55 on High Street is a mid-19th century house that stands two stories tall. It is constructed from gault brick and features a low pitch hipped slate roof with end stacks. The front of the house is symmetrical, with a three-window arrangement consisting of two recessed hung sashes with glazing bars set in cambered arches, flanking a central blind window. The entrance is marked by a central five-panel door, which is framed by a door-case with reeded pilasters, and there are two additional hung sash windows with glazing bars on either side.
