Description

Court Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse with 19th-century extensions to the rear. It is a two-story building with attics. The exterior is of local red brick, colour-washed, with a plain tile roof and end stacks. There are three hipped dormer windows with casements. The symmetrical front facade has three first-floor hung sash windows with glazing bars, and two similar ground-floor windows flanking a central doorway. Inside, the right-hand room contains an original inglenook hearth and a stop-chamfered ceiling beam with run-out stops. The left-hand room has 18th-century panelling up to dado level. A cellar is located with external entry in the left-hand gable.
