Description
The premises occupied by Maples Garage is a former coach house or stables, likely built around 1840 for Madeira Hall. It is located on a corner site at the junction of Madeira Road and Trinity Road. The building is two storeys high and constructed from coursed rubble. The east front features four gables with open work bargeboards above first-floor half dormers, and there are casement windows. On the ground floor, there are two windows flanking a door, with a coach house door to the left. The roof is slate, with a hipped bargeboarded gable end facing Trinity Road. This building forms a group with Bondi and Maple Cottage on Trinity Road.
