Description

Jobson's Farm Cottage is an 18th-century building located on Newport Road in Niton. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble native to the Isle of Wight and features a thatched roof that is half hipped on the right side. The cottage has one storey and an attic in the gable end, with two windows. The side facing the street does not have any windows. The right side gable includes a 19th-century casement window set within an 18th-century architrave that has a keystone. The rear elevation features two dormers, casement windows, a simple doorcase, and a later outshut. Additionally, the left side gable has a circular owl hole.
