Terraced house. Early C19. Stucco. Roof obscured by blocking course. 3 storeys and attic over half basement. 3-window range. All windows flat arched, those to ground and second floors with projecting sills. Steps up to round-arched entrance set in aedicule consisting of a pair of panelled Tuscan pilasters and entablature with panelled frieze; jambs and archivolts also panelled; arch has thin architrave and keystone. To right are 2 flat-arched windows. First-floor balcony with cast-iron railings in heart and anthemion patterns. Sashes of original design: 6 x 6 to first floor; centre range to second storey and attic is blocked, 6 x 6 sashes to second floor and 3 x 6 sashes to attic. Attic sill band cast as a cornice; cornice and blocking course to attic. Stacks to party wall. INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron railings to stairs and area. Nos 20-31 (qv) form a group.
