Description

This is a three-storey terraced house, likely dating to around 1825 and possibly designed by Amon Wilds and Charles Augustin Busby. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the upper floors are stock brick in a header bond pattern. The house has stucco dressings and a gambrel roof covered in slate.

The exterior features a three-window range. The basement and second floors are treated as a full-width segmental bay, the top of which is enclosed by a balustrade, forming a porch for the attic storey. Steps lead to a flat-arched entrance set within the left party wall, framed by Tuscan pilasters and an entablature. The ground floor is treated with chamfered rustication, incorporating two windows to the side of the entrance. All windows are flat-arched; those on the first and second floors have architraves, with the first-floor windows additionally featuring an entablature. There is a sill band to the second floor and a dentil cornice at the top of the bay. Part of the entablature to the attic is missing. A first-floor balcony is present with cast-iron railings. Stack chimneys are set into the party walls.

The interior remains uninspected. Iron railings run along the stairs and area, the latter interrupted by a round-arched entry in the right-hand quadrant of the bay. The house forms part of a group with numbers 20-31.
