Description
No. 102 St James's Street is a terraced house built in the early 19th century. It features painted brick in Flemish bond and stucco, with a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a dormer, presenting a one-window range. The ground floor includes sashes and an original shop front design, with a projecting entablature in the center that forms a balcony supported by Ionic columns. There are flat-arched entrances on either side. Above, the first and second floors have a segmental bay with tripartite, flat-arched windows. The sashes are of original design, with the first-floor windows having sidelights of 4 x 4, a center of 6 x 6, and the second-floor windows featuring sidelights of 2 x 2 and a center of 3 x 3. A single flat-arched dormer is present on the roof, and there are stacks on the party wall. The interior has not been inspected.
