Description
Number 18 is a terraced house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, which is now painted, with mathematical tiles on the bay and a slate roof that has been turnerised. The building has three storeys above a basement and features two flat-arched dormers, with a two-window range. The flat-arched entrance is located under a prostyle porch supported by Tuscan columns and responds, with fluted pilaster capitals and a modillion cornice. To the right of the entrance, there is a full-height segmental bay with triple windows. Most windows are flat-arched, except for the first floor window above the entrance, which is cambered. A bracketed balcony with cast-iron railings is present on the first floor. There is a brick dentil cornice to the left of the bay only. A stack is situated on the right-hand wall, between the bay and the left-hand windows. The interior has not been inspected, but there are cast-iron railings leading to the steps and area.
