Description
Number 14 is a terraced house that has been converted into shops and flats, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building features painted mathematical tiles and stucco on the return of the second floor. It has a two-span roof, with the front span being a gambrel covered in slate, while the rear span is obscured. The structure stands three storeys tall with a dormer over the basement, presenting a one-window range. The ground floor has a late 20th-century shop front in the Georgian Revival style. Above this, there is a segmental bay on the first and second floors, featuring flat-arched, tripartite windows that have been recently rebuilt to match the original late 18th or early 19th-century design, with a blocking course above. The roof includes one flat-arched dormer with 8/8 sashes of original design, and the basement area window has 4/8 sashes of original design. The interior has not been inspected. The building also has railings at the shop entrance and area.
