Description
No. 10 Manchester Street is a terraced house built in the late 18th century. It features black mathematical tiles and red brick quoin strips on the party walls, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The building has three storeys above a basement and a two-window range. On either side of the centrally placed 20th-century entrance are full-height segmental bays. The design of the ground-floor shop windows dates back to the late 18th or early 19th century. The bays narrow on the first and second floors, each having one flat-arched window. The parapet above each bay is canted in plan and made from mathematical tiles of varying texture and finish, indicating that it was likely added in the late 19th or early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
