Description
White Cottage is a small house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building features a combination of timber framing with brick infill and painted brick, topped with an old tile roof. It has a rectangular plan that was originally composed of two cells.
The house stands two storeys high and has two end gable chimneys, which have corniced heads and clay pots; the chimney on the left is older and larger. The south front, which serves as the entrance, has two bays. It includes 20th-century leaded casement windows, with a three-light window on the first floor and a two-light window on the ground floor, positioned with a planked entrance door between them, slightly to the left of centre. The interior has not been inspected.
