Description
15 West Street is a 18th-century building that likely has an older core. It features two storeys and two window bays, with a pantile roof that has a half-hip on the right side. The street-facing side is clad in red brick. The building has sash windows with glazing bars and horns, and the window openings are topped with rubbed brick voussoirs. A set of two steps leads up to the doorway, which is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. The door itself is a four-panelled design, with the top two panels being glazed.
This building is part of a group that includes the Water Pavilion at Carshalton House and the boundary wall to Carshalton House, as well as Nos 3 to 11 (odd) and No 15 West Street, Nos 2 to 12 and 18 to 24 (even) West Street, and The Old Rectory on Festival Walk.
