Description

This is part of the northern boundary wall of The Lodge, located to the east of number 16 on West Street Lane in Carshalton. The wall, likely built in the 18th century, is a high structure made of red brick, featuring a capping and plinth. It is divided into bays by brick pilasters. The wall includes a segmental headed brick gateway, which is flanked on either side by a tall pier that has stone capping.
