Description

The War Memorial at the junction of Parkside and The Causeway is a First World War memorial made of Portland stone. It features a square plinth with inset round-headed bronze plaques that depict winged victories, topped with scrolling pediments. Above the plinth is an obelisk, which is surmounted by a cross.
