Description

The iron screen, gatepiers, and gates to Eagle House, located on the north side of High Street in Wimbledon, date from the late 18th century. They are made of wrought and cast iron and feature plain spear-headed railings with urn-capped standards at regular intervals. The structure includes two flat openwork wrought iron gatepiers adorned with foliated ornament, along with plain gates.
