Description

This building, located at 57 High Street in Wimbledon, is part of a row of houses that may have originally included stables. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of stucco. The building features a hipped tiled roof with a parapet along the High Street facade. It has two storeys and two windows facing High Street, which are segmental headed with flush framed sashes and plate glass. The ground floor includes a shopfront, while the upper floor has square headed windows with recessed sashes, some of which have glazing bars. The ground floor also features segmental headed recessed sashes. A moulded brick eaves cornice adds to the architectural detail.
