Description
Waterfall House is an early 19th-century building located on Tooting High Street. It features a three-storey central block with three windows, flanked by two-storey wings that are slightly set back and have one window each. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and has a slate roof.
The central block is adorned with a stucco cornice and a blocking course, while the wings have parapets. There is a stucco cill string at the first floor level. The third floor has recessed windows with gauged flat brick arches. The ground and first floors showcase round arched sash windows set within arched recesses, complete with stucco archivolts. Some of these windows include radial glazing bars. A large arched window with original iron bars is located on the return wall of the north wing. The first floor windows of the wings are blank.
An enclosed porch made of stucco has been added to the north wing, featuring a cornice and blocking course. The recessed doorway is flanked by stucco pilasters that support an entablature with a dentil cornice. Additionally, there is a brick flank wall leading to a former stable yard entrance, which includes blind arches and a bell on the gate pier.
