TOOTING HIGH STREET SW 17 Waterfall House

II

Early 19th century. Three-storey, three window central block flanked by two-storey one-window slightly set back wings. Yellow stock brick. Slate roof.

Central block with stucco cornice and blocking course, wings with parapets. Stucco cill string at first floor level. Third floor recessed windows with gauged flat brick arches. Ground and first floor round arched sash windows set in arched recesses with stucco archivolts. Some windows with radial glazing bars. Large arched window with original iron-bars on return wall of north wing. Blank first floor wings windows. Stucco enclosed porch added to north wing, with cornice and blocking course. Recessed doorway flanked by stucco pilasters carrying entablature with dentil cornice. Brick flank wall to former stable yard entrance with blind arches and bell on gate pier.
