Description

The gates and gatepiers at the main entrance to the east of Morden Hall, along with the attached wall to the north, date from the 18th century. The gatepiers, now covered in stucco, are approximately 15 feet tall and feature rusticated designs topped with cornices and ball finials. The pair of wrought iron carriage gates includes an ornamental overthrow. To the left, there is a red brick wall from the 18th century that stands about 6 feet high and ramps up to the gatepier.
