Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 28 to 34 Ewell Road, located in Surbiton, Kingston-upon-Thames. The terrace is symmetrical, featuring paired central entrances flanked by projecting, one-window gabled bays. The buildings are two storeys and a basement high, with attics above. Each house has two windows. The roofs are slate, with projecting eaves and gables. The construction is primarily yellow stock brick, with a rusticated stucco finish to the ground floor and dressings on the projecting bays. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The attic windows in the projecting bays are triple-arched. Numbers 28 and 34 have projecting porticoes with pilasters and a hanging entablature. Numbers 30 and 32 feature recessed entrances, fanlights, and panelled doors.
