Description
The former coach houses at the north and south ends of the west stable range and the north end of the east stable range to Hounslow Cavalry Barracks were built around 1793 by James Johnson. These single-storey buildings, originally designed as coach houses, were converted into fodder stores in the mid-19th century. They feature double-pitched hipped roofs covered in slate and are constructed from multicoloured stock brick. The south coach house has casement windows, while the north coach house includes cambered arched windows and small-pane cast-iron framed windows on the north and east elevations, along with timber double-hung barred sashes on the west.
