Description

BEAVERS LANE 1. 4419 Former Chapel to Hounslow Cavalry Barracks TQ 1175NE 41/364 II GV

  1. Built between 1845 and 1851. Now altered to form troopers' dormitory. Multi-coloured stockbrick with pitched slate roofs. Aisled with low continuous clerestory. 7 bays, 6 bays aisled divided by plain pilasters. North window (ritual East) of 4 arched lights, inner pair linked, all below cambered head. Rusticated arched central south door in shallow projection flanked by round-headed windows and oculus in gable; later single storey north extensions.
