Description
The premises of the Harefield Rubber Company is an early 19th-century house that stands two storeys high and features nine windows. The leftmost window is part of a slightly canted two-storey projecting bay, while the outer three windows on the right are set within a large two-storey half-octagonal bay. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a moulded brick cornice along with a stone-coped parapet that partially hides the hipped slated roof. The windows have gauged flat brick arches, and although many have been replaced, some original sash windows with bars can still be found at the back. A later central porch is finished in stucco. To the left, there is a rear wing that is also two storeys and consists of four bays, with some additional structures at the back. Inside, some original woodwork and plaster cornices have been preserved.
