Description
The stable block located to the south-east of Harefield Park is a 2-storey, 7-bay building dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The front elevation has been rendered and includes a parapet. The first floor has blank panels and a large clock face in the center. The ground floor has a mix of windows, including some replaced sash windows with glazing bars, as well as windows inserted into blocked entrances. Atop the roof ridge, there is a cupola on a columned base, which is surmounted by a stone figure of an eagle. This stable block, along with Harefield Park and its walls, forms a cohesive group.
