Description
The Lodge, an annexe to Harefield Hospital, is a house composed of two sections. The right section is an early 19th-century, two-storey cottage with two windows, while the left section is a slightly later two-storey addition with three windows. The building is finished in stucco and features hipped slate roofs, with the right roof having a lower pitch. On the first floor, there are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, and on the ground floor, there are recessed sash windows with margin lights. In the left bay of the older part, there is a half-glazed double door topped by an elliptical radial fanlight, set within a modified Doric porch that has an elliptical soffit. Access is provided by two stone steps. There is also a modern single-storey extension on the right.
