Description
Harefield Grove is a country house, likely built in the early 19th century, featuring three storeys and five windows. The exterior is finished in stucco, with a stone cornice and a parapet that conceals a fairly low-pitched hipped slate roof. The house has sash windows set in raised surrounds, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a wide round bow with three windows. The central entrance is marked by a Doric porch supported by two columns in antis, complete with an entablature and a pediment. To the right, there are later 19th-century two-storey extensions and a billiard room. The back of the house, which faces the garden, has an irregular shape but features a two-storey rounded bow on the right, supported by giant Ionic columns, and includes an entablature and a blocking course.
