Description

Tadlows is a building located on Corbets Tey Road in Upminster, likely constructed in 1791. It is two storeys tall with an attic and is made of stock brick. The front features three cased sash windows with rounded tops and depressed centres, adorned with Gothic glazing bars. There is a central doorcase with an open pediment, supported by brackets, which includes a fanlight and a panelled door. A brick dentil cornice runs along the top. The roof is a hipped mansard style covered with old tiles, featuring two flat-topped casement dormers. The side elevations each have one blocked window on the first floor and a ground floor window that matches those at the front.
