Description

No. 201 Corbets Tey Road is a late 18th-century estate cottage built for Gaynes Park, the residence of Sir James Esdaile. It was possibly designed by Samuel Hammond, the builder of Gaynes Park, which was constructed in 1771. The cottage features a two-storey central section with a pediment and single-storey lean-to wings, all finished in roughcast. The first floor has one quatrefoil window, while the ground floor includes casement windows with pointed lights. The central doorway is adorned with a shaped head.
