Description
The Church of St Laurence is a medieval church, primarily rebuilt in 1863 by W G Bartlett. It features a nave with aisles and a chancel, and has a west tower dating from around 1200, topped with a short spire. The wooden framework of the spire is from the 13th century and is supported by large posts with arch-braces. Inside, there is a 15th-century font and brasses. The churchyard contains 18th-century and later monuments. The tower's significance contributes to the church's listed status.
