Description
Sundial located in front of Number 36, built in 1911 by M H Baillie Scott. It is made of concrete, brick, tile, and stone. The sundial features a concrete octagonal base with a two-step circular plinth; the lower step has brick edging and polished stone mosaic work on top, while the upper step is made of tiles set on edge. The octagonal shaft has a stone base, with sides that alternate between tile-on-edge and polished stone mosaic work, topped with a moulded capstone. The dial has been removed. This sundial is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
