Description

27 Meadway is a house dating from 1910/11, designed by Van’T Hoff and Maxwell. It was one of the entries for the cottage class in the original Gidea Park competition. The house has a cruciform plan, with gables facing each facade. A central chimney stack is present. It is a single-storey building with windows in each gable, providing access to an attic space. The construction incorporates red brick and tile hangings. The gables project outwards, and it features casement windows. The roof is tiled.
