Description

16 Meadway is a two-storey house built in 1910 or 1911 by architect Philip Tilden. It was one of the entries for the cottage class in the original Gidea Park competition. The building features a central bay flanked by single-storey bays and is constructed of white painted brick. The central door is recessed, and the windows are casement style, with those in the upper storey of the central block linked by decorative framing. The roof is tiled and has a central stack.
